About User Experience
We help design desirable, useful, usable, and engaging experiences by focusing on how users interact with products and services. Position Description
The UX Specialists are responsible for handling a full range of projects. This position is responsible for executing project activities and supporting senior User Experience team members in preparation, execution, and reporting for usability studies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
As the first tier of Specialist you will be responsible for conducting research preparation activities, including logistical planning, screener development, recruiting and facilities vendor management, moderator guide development, and data collection piloting activities.

Specific responsibilities include:
• Prepare research materials such as test plans, research protocols, recruitment screeners, data sheets, and moderator’s guides.
• Conduct note taking and initial client project moderation.
• Conduct analysis and reporting.
• Provide design suggestions and tactics to functional recommendations.
• Assist in discovery research to understand requirements and user needs.
• Assist in wire framing with support and review from managers and leads.
• Transition to project lead roles with oversight from senior team members.
• Serve as an efficient and effective individual contributor at the project level.

• Develop your technical skills
• Gain exposure to general aspects of business development including sales calls, scoping, bidding, proposals, and general sales material development
• Develop client management and participate in client-facing discussions during all phases of project execution
• Develop project management skills under the supervision of senior team members. Develop an understanding of internal and external processes tied to service delivery, such as timekeeping, expenses, and vendor management.

Experience and Skills:
• Solid understanding of user experience field and our key markets
• Entry-level Specialist skills in Research and Design:
o Good understanding of a moderator’s guide and willingness to moderate a variety of session types and note taking
o Basic skills with graphic design tools (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop)
o Basic skills with IA tools (e.g., Visio)
• Great communication skills; a pro-active team player to be the key link between the business and the client.
• Entry-level role; 1+ years’ experience in related field (i.e., user experience research or design), preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in human factors, HCI, behavioral sciences or equivalent experience, including Bachelor’s in Fine Arts, required.
