Full-time Software Support Engineer

You will be primarily responsible to provide best-in-class technical support directly to our customers and to drive our customers’ satisfaction. However, this is a varied role which includes also software development and system administration duties.

Whilst experience is preferred, we also welcome applications from recent graduates who have a depth of technical expertise.

• Developing scripts and programs to support Avolution and its clients
• Assisting with the implementation of the company’s solutions with customer project teams, and in pre-sales proof of concept scenarios
• Managing software releases and installation for clients.
• Helping with software testing and documentation.
• Responsible for the group implementation, maintenance and administration of all the business and customer hosted systems.
• Customizing systems used to support Avolution’s internal operations.

• Excellent technical abilities, including knowledge of MS Office products (with advanced excel skills), Windows operating systems, database management.
• Strong understanding of computer networking fundamentals
• Knowledge of development environments, in particular Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Good written and verbal skills with sound command of English.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, MIS, Computer Science or technical field, or equivalent combination of education and on-the-job training.

• Proficiency in platforms and technologies which are complementary to our product are preferred, particularly: AWS, Microsoft IIS, Active Directory and SharePoint.
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) and Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certifications would be a plus.

Previous experience could include roles such as: Software Engineer, Applications Support Analyst, Systems Administrator, IT Support, Application Support, Developer, Technical Support, etc.
