Full-time Resourcing Co-ordinator

at Foolproof in London

Resourcing Co-ordinator

Maternity cover, London or Norwich

This is one of the most important roles at Foolproof. It’s central to making sure every project - no matter how big or small - moves through the studio smoothly and efficiently.

This is a challenging role working in an energetic, busy environment. But you will be in a position to have a major impact on how work flows through the studio, bringing your experience and knowledge in similar roles to make improvements to our processes and systems.

About us

We help solve complex digital design problems for some of the World’s most influential companies such as Dell, Domino’s, HSBC, Shell, Sony, Suzuki and Unilever. Projects can last for a matter of weeks or run for many months requiring multiple phases and personnel.

If you thrive in an ever-changing, busy environment but can still maintain your sense of humour, and an outwardly calm and professional demeanour at all times, you’ll find Foolproof the perfect fit.

The role

You’ll be working with a team of over 50 talented experience designers; from insight and planning through to visual design and front-end development. It’s your job to make sure the right people are deployed onto the right projects at the right time. This means having a thorough understanding of how Foolproof works and getting to know the skillsets of each member of the team and those of external agencies, partners or associates.

The one constant in all UX projects is change. Your ability to adapt quickly to change and communicate effectively with creative people, project managers, account teams and senior stakeholders will be crucial to your success in this role.

As the lynchpin between our experience design and client servicing teams you will play a key role in the smooth running of the studio and the development of our practitioners. We make the professional development of our people at Foolproof a priority. You will also be responsible for helping identify, recommend and organise career growth opportunities for our consultants and designers.

You will have additional responsibility for reporting, distributing project feedback from clients, responding to holiday requests and other absences.

The person

Your experience in a similar role - or extensive experience managing people and projects in an agency or design environment - will have given you effective time-management and negotiation skills. You’ll need to demonstrate your ability to manage multiple projects, handle difficult and sometimes sensitive situations, and solve problems in imaginative ways.

You’ll need to bring passion, experience and energy to the team, even on busy days, which is every day.
